How is Everyone out in Homeschooling, Social Isolating Land. We are a few weeks in and starting to a little twitchy to get back out into the world. I am looking forward to warmer temperatures and some sunshine.
Aperture
I am asked about aperture all the time in my photography lessons. I found it was one of the easier next steps to take when you are taking the leap away from automatic mode. Go to aperture mode or go to manual and only adjust your aperture. Essentially Your aperture is the size of the len’s diaphragm (circle) that lets light through. The greater the circle size the greater the light. The smaller the circle size the less light. It may seem a little weird and contradictory but to put it simply the smaller the f# the less the amount that is in focus. The great the f# the more that is in focus.
Play with your camera, record your results to you can remember what you did to achieve which photo. I have attached Photo Scavenger Hunt #2 as well. You can find my first scavenger hunt here. These are great for all ages and abilities and are a fun activity while social distancing and homeschooling. Have fun!!
I will post this particular hunt on instagram and facebook as well. Please enjoy yourself. Take the photos and don’t forget to tag me with #rbpscavengerhunt or #reflectionsbypatty.
