After years of requests I have finally found a weekend and am offering a photography class for adults!! So if you found a camera under the Christmas tree and have yet to pull out the manual this is for you. 3 hours of intense learn to use your camera training, maybe even take it off automatic if you are brave enough but it is not necessary. 😉
Adult Photography Class
{Suitable for all types of cameras}
When: Saturday March 22, 2014
Time: 1 – 4pm
Where: 11 Rayburn Meadows, East Garafraxa (just off of a-line)
Cost: $75 (includes hst)
The class size will be kept small so that I can offer each person the education that they need. Everyone is different, some people catch on to the technology quickly others not so much. 😉 Do not hesitate to register, this class will fill up.
What to bring:
- Your camera (charged and ready to go), it’s manual (yes ….. you will be asked to read the manual 🙂 all corresponding cords and camera photo cards.
- Your laptop would be helpful. I have Macs and PCs available to use but if I could set things up on your own computer that would be easier for you after the class. 🙂
- Your Enthusiasm. Leave your hangups behind – photography is fun 🙂
Topics To be Covered:
- Learn to Operate your camera, dare to take it off automatic if it is an SLR or just become familiar with all of the different settings.
- Basic rules of photography and avoid common photo errors.
- Basic photo computer enhancements and how to correct minor issues.
- Get your photos from the Computer to the developer and what to look for in developing.
- Bring your questions – if you had an issue and just couldn’t figure it out – now is the time. You have seen those cool iphone photo cases and can’t figure out how to do it? Now is the time!
