Bring on the Outfits and the Smiles, that is the fun of 6 month old photo sessions. Milestone photo sessions happen in the first year at newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year of age. They are a fantastic way of showing the growth and capturing the phenomenal number of changes that happen in that first year.
I met this extraordinary family for their maternity photos last fall and have been delighted to do their newborn/3 month (dates were off a bit due to covid lockdowns) and now their 6 month session. They arrived with a bag full of outfits and all the smiles.
We started off indoors to show off all of her new 6 month old amazing abilities of sitting on her own, laughing with glee at Mom and Dad and some super cute new teeth. A quick outfit change into a Harry Potter themed “snuggle this muggle” onesie to pay tribute to one of mom’s favourite things (and Yes, in case you are wondering She is a Gryffindor 🙂 We then headed outdoors to take advantage of the fantastic weather. I am already planning her 9 month session for the Fall. 😉
