I am pleased to offer my spring time mini sessions again. This time the sessions have been inspired by an amazing young lady.
Sarah-Lynn was born October 19, 1995. From her first breaths she has struggled against failure to thrive (unable to gain weight), bowel obstructions and multiple lung infections. On September 17th, 2012, Sarah-Lynn was listed for a double lung transplant. Her lungs have been damaged to the point of no return. Cystic Fibrosis is the most common, fatal, inherited disease affecting young Canadians. 1 in 2500 people have Cystic Fibrosis, 1 in 50 carry the gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis.
A good friend of mine is this sweetie’s Aunt. She and a fabulous group of people are taking part in the 9th Annual Great Strides Walk – Taking Strides to Cure Cystic Fibrosis. They are walking for Sarah-Lynn and all of the other kids who struggle with this disease and in hope for a cure so that future struggles will be no more.
