Is it ever! There are still a few weeks of school left but you wouldn't know it by the number of trips/activities etc. that my kids have been having. Not complaining – kids are supposed to enjoy themselves at school. But when you have two kids sparring for equal time it means that if you go on one school trip you must do the same for the other. Which means that I have been on trips to the Collingwood Medieval Fayre in the freezing cold drizzle and Farmer Ron's to plant pumpkin seeds as well as a fun filled picnic in the last week. Add that to proofing (which I am really behind on – sorry – I will be caught up soon, Promise :), kids after school activities (which are slowly ending – thank goodness), grad photos of the cutest little sk's in the world, various other shoots, planning a photo summer camp and my running clan and boxing classes to keep me sane….there is absolutely no time for the little things like cooking, cleaning, laundry. And boy can you tell looking around my house!
It's ok – I will pour myself a glass of wine and ignore it for tonight as I type up my blog with some family fun. Yesterday I came home to be greeted by Dave readying the boat. Yep – 20 minutes, get a picnic dinner together we are taking the boat out for it's first dip of the season. :)
Lots of fun news coming up from Reflections by Patty with a summer Photography camp and don't forget to join up on facebook to be eligible for draws for great prizes. And let's face it – we all love to win something sometime.
Yes – the kids were crazy enough to go tubing.
Look at that gorgeous sky!
"Aye, Aye Captain" – Dave really gets no respect even as Captain.
