I have so much fun doing Trash the Dress sessions. I get to be creative and have fun and my brides are SOOO relaxed and willing to do anything that I ask (insert evil laugh 🙂
Last weekend I set aside a few hours to finish up this wedding package. They had a great package that included engagement, wedding and Trash the Dress photos. The Full Monty so to speak and most definitely worth it. They have a collection to treasure.
I arrived “special coffee” in hand to keep Nicole toasty warm and we set out for a few hours exploring different locations and having fun. I am going to miss our visits Nicole and we will definitely have to set up some coffee dates. I’ll miss you too Peter 😉
To answer all of the FAQ’s I get regarding Trashing the Dress.
1. Yes the water is chilly but after the first plunge and the numbness sets in it really is not so bad. (NIcole had on long underwear and rubber boats underneath her dress).
2. No dress is destroyed in the trashing session. Just a little dirt and water. All Good.
3. Yes, it is amazing to put on your dress one more time and feel like a princess.
4. The sessions take about 2-3 hours, more depending on the number of locations.
5. Yes, I will be doing them in the winter – picture a gorgeous bride skating on a freshly shoveled pond in the middle of a glad of trees. 🙂 Any volunteers?
