My Erin turns 8 years old on Saturday and she cannot wait. She is no longer a little girl and is racing towards adulthood. It is amazing, you seem to spend the first years of their lives excitedly waiting for the next step. Now I wish that I could freeze time. I am grateful that she is still gleefully happy to be a tomboy – I am not sure what I would have done if I had been given a ribbons and barbies kind of girl. This year Erin choose to have friends bring donations for the local SPCA instead of presents. Erin and her amazing girlfriends raised $175.00, 3 bags of kitty food and 1 cat toy. We love you and are proud of you Erin – Happy 8th Birthday.
