Fall seems to be the time that everyone thinks about family photos. They are great gifts to give, but more importantly it seems to summarize the year. It is incredible to look back at the annual pictures to see how things change and stay the same. My husband’s family has taken annual Christmas photos for at least the last 35 years – maybe longer. You know, those horrific ones with babies crying and a giant moosehead up on the wall. Painful as they are to take each year – the memories that these provide over the generations is amazing and it is a tradition that we will continue for future generations.
I was invited to photograph The Cordingley’s last week. They are an inspiring family. The type of family that you call on when you are in need of a pick-up from school, 20 pies for a bake sale or just help. Most importantly (to me of course) they are Great Babysitters! With 2 kids of babysitting age and one coming close it is important to keep them happy. Hope you like the pictures guys!
