We have been given some beautiful sunny days and I have been outside taking advantage of them. It can become almost overwhelming. The to do list is huge and the urge to do everything and take on every task is there….that is until you actually start doing them. All winter we spoke of tackling the scraggly brush that flourishes at the back of our property and salvaging the cedar rail fence that is buried back there. I go out with best intentions and wind up dropping a log on my legs. Great…just great….the weather is finally nice enough for me to go without nylons and now my legs are too abused to go out in public. My kids come by it so honestly. Running into church this morning Caitlyn did an all fours skid across the sidewalk which needed three bandaids for coverage. We looked like quite the pair with gashes on our shins in our Sunday Best. Luckily Erin's wounds have healed or someone would be calling the CAS on me.
Anyways…..got off on a completely different tangent there.
I spent a glorious day last week in Elora. The sun was shining, the stores were open, shop keepers were sweeping off their porches and planting their pots – how wonderful. I snapped some photos of the Elora Old MIll.
Not a great photo but I snapped a bunch of this little guy while pulled over on the side of the road. It was a great day for wildlife with fox, wild turkey and deer sightings along the drive.
