I am so thankful for the lifting of Covid restrictions and things reopening!!! I had the joy of photographing this adorable couple recently at The Millcroft Inn. My First wedding at The Millcroft since what feels like forever. There have been many backyard celebrations but I was missing the sound of the water and beauty of the wedding gardens. On this day Mother Nature decided to rain for most of it except the hour which delightfully corresponded to the timing of the ceremony. YES!!!
The bride was dressed in a gorgeous pink lace gown, the groom looked super dapper in navy.
They were surrounded by an amazing family in an intimate ceremony.
With a careful eye on the clouds, and an ear to the distant rumbling of thunder things were progressing according to plan…That is where things got a little interesting. The ring bearer handed off the pillow with skill then the groom while attempting to untie the ring realized that he had tied them on a little tooooo securely. LIKE Those rings were not coming undone!!! EVER!!
He tried…..she tried…..a family member tried …. then another family tried with a trusty swiss army knife. That is the family member/guest you want to always remember to invite!!! Note to self – put a swiss army knife in my camera bag. 😉
Rings Detached and firmly placed on one another’s fingers the ceremony continued. The ceremony finished with just enough time for a few photos before the rain rolled back in.
Thank You Bill and Liz for including me in your special Day!!! Best Wishes your fully photo gallery will be coming shortly.
Hugs, Patty
