Wow I cannot believe it has been over a month since I did a blog posting! It has been a whirlwind of activity around here with the usual not enough time to do everything circumstances and to put it frankly if I did have an extra moment I spent it with my family instead of blogging. 🙂 I have been posting on facebook 🙂 with a couple of gift card draws as well. Follow along if you are on facebook or twitter. 🙂 Don’t worry I will be catching up on my blogging in January. I have so many great stories to share!!
What has been going on?
Many, many, many Christmas Minisessions
Photo sessions (family, headshots, corporate …) the list goes on
Gift cards
Photo Orders
Jewelry Orders
Erin’s 12th (arghh) birthday
Erin’s Port Elgin Swim meet
Dave working nonstop
Caitlyn sick, better, sick, better, sick, better
Coordinating the Toonie store culminating with 2 weeks at the school
And finally – duelling buckets flu this past weekend.
…… just to name a few 😉 Same as everyone not enough time to do everything that needs to be done but doing my best to do the important stuff.
I love what I do, I love supporting my girls, I manage Dave’s coming and goings without a blink, I am excited to see family over Christmas BUT I can’t wait til December 27th when our fabulous little foursome has a well earned PJ day planned. 🙂 Merry Christmas to us!!
I did have some fun this weekend amongst the buckets. I was inspired by a photo in a magazine at the orthodontist’s office. Sorry I can’t remember which one. I took branches, painted them white and hung them around my chandelier. I then typed up inspiring words put them into clear and coloured glass ornaments and hung them from the branches. The words are our family’s game plan for a happy life. You could also do Christmas Carol lyrics, psalms, names of loved ones, whatever strikes your fancy. I love the idea of us sitting around the table with positive vibes glowing above our heads. 🙂
What are in my glowing orbs?
Have Empathy, Leave Drama at the Door, Kindness Matters, Connect the Dots, It is what it is, give hugs, Avoid Judgement, See the world with an open heart and my favourite Grandpa Glassford 🙂
