I was sitting on my deck enjoying a beverage admiring the butterflies in my garden when WHAMMO I was hit with inspiration. BUTTERFLY PHOTOS. I figured out the house vision fairly quickly but the wings took a little longer until a make your own butterfly craft showed up in my instagram feed. LOL There are no secrets in the world of the Internet. I found a couple of willing participants then off we went. I absolutely love how these photos turned out. And I love that the kids had fun during the session. They really do create the best photos!!
I gave Mom and Dad butterfly (pics not shown 😉 the items required to make the wings with instructions, blog links and emotional support. (Truly there was a little bit of flashback trauma to those early crafting days with my kids where there was glue everywhere, things stuck to the wrong things and someone ending in tears) BUT the report back from Mom and Dad butterfly was that it was ok!!!

The butterflies decorated their house, danced, fluttered, made a butterfly bed. It was ADORABLE!!!

A couple of the butterflies. They arrived in sandals and super adorable tutus with their wings on ready to decorate their house. 
These Wings are made from dried flowers, contact paper, and bark that I found on the ground in my back yard.
