Today my baby turns 6 – how weird is that. Tradition is our household is that I wake the girls up with a piece of birthday cake and a candle singing happy birthday – it is a private, personal mommy daughter thing that my girls soak in, in a household where there never seems to be enough mommy/daughter time.
Caitlyn has become the kid that we always knew she would – determined, stubborn, vivacious. She is a tough kid but is going to be an amazing adult and hey – that is what our job truly is. I usually take the girls out for a photo shoot on their birthdays but she has decided that she doesn't want to do that tonight. Dave is in Detroit so Caitlyn requested a girls night out at the Mad Hatter. (Hoping she doesn't want to do a whiskey tasting as well 😉 So I have found a couple of older photos that catch her personality with the hopes that I will convince her sometime over the weekend to let me take her picture.
