Happy Canada Day Everyone!
I scooped up the girls after school on Tuesday and took them to Niagara-on-the-Lake to visit their Grandparents with plans for some bike rides and sunshine. The kids love Grandma's garden and there is always a project or two to keep them occupied. Dave joined us on Wednesday night, just in time to take part in the grand master planning to deal with a tree in their yard. You must be familiar with these scenarios. Holiday weekend, everyone gets together and out come the projects that you just can't get done by yourself. They usually require tremendous planning which involves a bottle or two of wine and a disagreement resolved by a game of rock, paper scissors. ;)
I left early to get home and take advantage of a day without kids to get caught up on my proofing – don't worry the photos are coming – I promise.
