An Irish Toast to Friendship 🙂
And to mine and ours,
And if mine and ours ever come
Across you and yours,
I hope you and yours will do
As much for mine and ours,
As mine and ours have done
For you and yours!
Happy St. Patricks Day! Â Everyone in Reflections by Patty land. Â What a fabulous day this is – the day when anyone can be Irish and the day that the Irish practice for all year.
St. Patrick’s Day festivities have changed a bit since the celebrations of my youth. Â Gone seems to be the days of the Green Beer for breakfast, it has been replaced with green pancakes and coloured water for the kids.
It is March Break and the week has been a careful balance of work, sibling spats, activities, colds, playdates and sleepovers.  It began with snowmen and skiing and seems to be ending with bike rides and rubber boots.  Gotta love March Break it always gives you a little bit  of everything.  Last night the girls had friends over while I joined clients to finalize a wedding album and have a pre-St. Patrick’s Day drink.  So I guess I did have my chance to celebrate being”green” just 8 hours early.  This morning began with Happy St. Patrick’s Day pancakes and toasts.
The Shamrock and fiddle for my dad who LOVED St. Patrick’s day and all that goes with it. 😉
