The Olympics are over, Old Man Winter cannot surprise me with anything anymore and it is 2 weeks until March Break. Safe to say that when the sun was beaming forcefully through the windows on the weekend I realized that I might actually make it through this winter. It will definitely be one with tales to tell.
There are lots of fun things coming up at here at Reflections by Patty: adult photography classes, Mother’s day Mini photo sessions, a maternity session giveaway. Stayed tuned as all of the details unfold. 🙂 I thought I would start this Monday off with a posting about my girls as it has been a while and some far afield family are making requests. 🙂
Our weeks and weekends are full of swimming. Between them the girls are happily submerged 9 times a week.
I love that they love to be with one another. I love that they are one another’s cheerleaders and avenging angels – really you do not want to wrong a Horton Sister. I hope that this will continue into adulthood. In fact I know it will. As different as they are they compliment one another and as a team are invincible. LOL
I am astounded that Erin will be hitting high school next year 🙁 She has a great big heart and I worry about her as she learns that people do not always say please, thank you, and I am sorry. She will have to learn that the world does not always play fair. I hope that she holds on to her kindness instead of letting the world turn her.
Oh Caitlyn, My Caitlyn. Where you came from I don’t know but I am blessed to have you. She is our touchstone and our family canary. A better judge of character and situations then I will ever be. I have learned to not second guess her when she sizes up people. She really knows better. Lord help me when she becomes a teenager. There will be no sneaking out the windows. She will walk right out the front door with a smile on her face.
And apparently I am not allowed to leave out Piper in the continued negotiations to be able to post photos of the girls. I fought you coming into our lives but can’t imagine our world without you. You are a crazy, happy, ball obsessed little creature who keeps me company all day long. 🙂 LOL
Family update complete – now that the kids are actually at school for a change I can get back to work!!!
