We hosted Caitlyn’s 7th (gulp – she is actually turning 7 ) birthday on the weekend. It was one of those parties that started medium (rarely are they ever small) and grew and grew and grew. The size had a lot to do with my failure to hide the invitations after we had initially filled them out. …. Caitlyn continued to fill them out and give them to people (little monkey!) “Oh well”, I said, it is only 2 hours out of my life and we are big about celebrating birthdays in this household. So we ended up with 17 kids, on a rainy Sunday afternoon and a room full of critters. It was great. Party Safari paid us a visit (again ….. definitely a favourite 🙂 The girls love Party Safari. Jennifer does an incredible job with the animals and the kids and I learn something new every time I see her and her friends. 🙂 Caitlyn NEVER tires of these critters and Jennifer makes sure to bring a new surprise each time. Thanks Party Safari!!!!

Saying hello to the critters. I love how Jennifer teaches respect, understanding and consideration for the critters.
Jelly bean turned out to be a favourite.
Caitlyn is absolutely glowing she is SOOOO happy.
I certain that there will eventually be a snake (s) and lizard (s) as pets in this household. Not because I have not fought it for the last 5 years. Because I know that Caitlyn will eventually catch me at a weak moment ….perhaps there will have just had another pet funeral or maybe I have had a glass or 2 of wine – she will sense it and pounce. 😉 They definitely are a passion of hers.
Grandpa and Grandma were able to be there this year – the girls were overjoyed!
Those that have done photos with me know Alex – Alex is the greatest!!
