I had the honour of shooting this wedding last weekend. You might remember them from their engagement session – Nicole and Peter. It was an interesting hot, humid summer day, and it rained ….fairly significantly at times…..but not at the most important time – during the ceremony.
I loved the way the guests were so supportive of the bride and groom. An interesting mix of morticians and teachers I think it says a lot about the future of their marriage – a great mix. Speaking of morticians …if you do not have one as a friend, you should. Nicole as well as many of the bridal party work for J.S. Jones and Son funeral home in Georgetown – definitely the dry witty humour was flying! It certainly cut the stress – these guys know how to handle stressful situations! I kept forgetting to take the picture amongst the chuckles and the raindrops.
And to the parents of the two little heartbreakers featured on the blog. Stay in touch, when they are older I have a couple of girls that think they are quite special. 🙂
Thank you Nicole and Peter for including me in your special day. It was a real treat for me and one that I will treasure always.
A final stink-stick application …..
An amazing letter written from the groom to his bride 🙂
The groom and his groomsman paddled in by rain swollen river. Nice entrance Boys!

Love was in the air….
The funeral home gang – what nice looking bunch – it is ok to leave the dark suits behind every now and then. 🙂
Framed and matted engagement photo from our engagement session for the guests to sign – what a great keepsake.
