For years I have been doing Graduation photos for some of the local schools. It is still one of my very favourite things to do. Every year the kids inspire me with their excitement, willingness to embrace the new general joie de vivre. I always ask their favourite thing about kindergarten before I snap the photo and each year there are new things on the list. Friends, playing outside, blocks, dinosaurs, kitchen centre, playing inside, lunch time …….the list goes on. The kids then tell me all about Grade 1. Some are a little nervous but most are ready to leave their tables behind and assume their rightful places in Grade 1 where they “may not play as much but will have just as much fun”. 😉

I love it when the kids recognize me 🙂 They are adorable. I smiled at one delightful girl and said “I know you I took your families’ pictures” …. she beamed. Then walked away whispering proudly to her classmate “she recognized me”.
