Wow, when last I wrote on my blog I was engulfed in March. Where did it go? It whizzed by in a blinding blur. Let me lay the foundation of March for you…..Dave was home for 5 days!!!! Not in one week but for the entire month (March has 31 days ….let's do the math on that one ;( And, let me remind those of you without school age kids, March contains March Break. For us it also always contains skating carnival and my birthday and this year to top it all off a vicious hydra of a virus that produced new symptoms daily and one that I still haven't quite conquered. So nicely put, March was an exercise in just getting by and things like blog updates were put on the back-burner. I will be playing catch up for the next few weeks though – Stay tuned for some fabulous things coming from Reflections by Patty including:
– the unveiling of my facebook page – yes I have finally caved and have a facebook page.
– a teen photo shoot giveaway
– proofs from an amazing mud puddle photo shoot (I do love kids the dirtier the better)
– lots of amazing giveaways and fun things just for being a part of Reflections by Patty.
– all totaling there will be 40 prizes/giveaways to be won. Why 40? Because I celebrated my 40th birthday last week and I want to celebrate with all of my wonderful clients in Reflections by Patty land.
But before I can get into business I must post the photos from Skating Carnival and Caitlyn's school project – proud mom that I always am.
….yep – there she is 🙂
A clown – she really was not enthralled with her costume or music this year but enjoyed the show all the same.
Erin loves skating and loved her costume and song this year. But the battle in the change room over where that blue thingy was supposed to go in her hair pushed my frazzled nerves to the limit. (love ya anyways Erin 🙂
…no she doesn't look happy at all…;)
These last photos are for Caitlyn's teacher. Wow does she ever love all things science. This an experiment to teach them groundwater processes. Could she have been more proud? Not at all. She came home, set it in the window, watered daily and anxiously waited for the grass to grow. Ta da – there it is – "greener then daddy's" and Caitlyn is super proud.
Grass from the top view – note the plastic straw which is the watering tube.
The grass had to be carefully manicured. 🙂
The smell of fresh grass clippings – yum!
