The best time to photograph a newborn is within the first 2 weeks of birth. This is the time that they are at their sleepiest … when they are still scrunched up all little and new :). A newborn session will last around 2 hours. Some can be as short as 1 hour (rarely) and some go as long as 3 hours depending on feeding breaks.
You can choose a studio session or go for a natural storytelling photography session in your own home. This session is about capturing the essence of you and your family during this wild, exciting, exhausting and wonderful time in your life. My approach to photographing babies is laid-back and simple. Few props or crazy poses. Just you and your loves ones enjoying those first moments with your sweet baby.
