This amazing family has some stories to tell from our sessions.
Really no one could have imagined when they contacted me to book fall photos that their session would be rescheduled 3 times due to weather, have a camera card glitch and a lost wedding ring. (Yes, the ring was lost in the leaves and was found thanks to Dave raking and raking and raking. 🙂 Those that know me, know that I am a LITTLE controlling and uber perfectionistic about my photography, my “system” and that I manage all things in the effort to have a streamlined smoothly orchestrated outcome. Yep – lesson learned – I have NO control. 🙂 I thought I had learned that lesson long ago, but nope, really had not, got it now. 😉
Thank you to this amazing family who taught me the roll with it mentality. It is not easy to do a family session. I get that! You have to get not only yourselves but your children (who really do not see the fun in photos) dressed as well. Then, you have to smile and get them to get along and smile as well.
I think it was worth all of the effort.
