This week I was invaded by kids for my PhotoCamp. It has been both a learning experience for them and for me and so much fun! I can not believe the CREATIVITY in these kids. Each day we have different tasks, challenges, games, activities all in the name of photography and they are rising to the challenge. I LOVE how they are actually listening and learning; composing and creating some fabulous photos. I can't wait to show you some of their photos but they get the final choices tomorrow for which ones get shown. Today was my chance to grab my camera. Today we were doing portrait photography. I dug out all my props, furniture, mirrors etc. and set them loose with a twist. I had an amazing makeup artist come in to create a persona. From that the kids were to portray an emotion in their photos… SOOO much fun!
see if you can guess what the emotions might be. 🙂
Special thanks to Amanda of "Your Place, Or Mine" professional make-up & esthetics. I am not sure if she quite knew what she was getting herself into but she definitely jumped in with both feet. Thanks Amanda!
A couple of photos for Amanda …

Hey I recognize some grown up girls there! where was caitlyn? )
…having the time of her life at Play Camp. She loves being a big kid. Photo Camp was for bigger kids so I made sure that Caitlyn happily had her own thing going. 🙂
