I have been anxious to do the post for this wonderful couple. Their wedding was a couple of weeks ago and I held off to ensure that they were back from their honeymoon. I did post a couple on my facebook page because I just couldn’t wait. 😉
What a fabulous couple they are! They are relaxed, casual, open and absolutely in love with one another. I did their engagement photos a couple of months ago. We had unbelievably gorgeous weather leading up to the wedding day and unbelievably gorgeous weather after the wedding day……on the wedding day….not so much. It rained all day. Not a nice warm summer rain – a is that snow or hail kind of rain!!!! (Sorry Katie and Ken – it’s the truth, people can wrap it up in as many comments about good luck if it rains on your wedding day as they like, but it puts a glitch into an outdoor wedding. 😉 The bride and groom, the people at the Terra Cotta Inn and all the guests took it all in stride and the love and support for this couple was overwhelming. The wedding ceremony was gorgeous!
Thanks so much for letting me a part of your day!!
The guys waiting, waiting and waiting 🙂
The bride waiting, waiting and waiting. 🙂
Heaters at the reception/ceremony on the terrace at the Terra Cotta Inn. Boy did these come in handy!
Yep – after the indoor family photos I made them go outside in the rain. Nasty photographer that I am. 😉
I absolutely love this moment. I was talking to Ken about something and Katie could not take her eyes off her new hubby. 🙂
Later on in the evening …… I don’t think he realized I was there ….sneaky photographer that I am. 🙂
Blankets on the chairs, heaters in the corners they thought about their guests’ comfort.
The food looked so yummy, made me sad that I had declined the dinner invitation.
