I was asked to be the photographer at the BEST wedding last weekend. It was a surprise. Yes, you read correctly, a surprise. It had been billed as an engagement party but the bride and groom decided to forget about the muss and fuss and get right to the heart of the matter. And the heart of the matter this wedding was. After pretending I worked with the bride for 45 minutes (my apologies to the wonderful gentleman who chatted with Paige and I and offered many beers. A few things to clear up – no I do not work with Ayron, yes I normally drink beer – lots of it, no Paige is not my daughter, and thank you for making me feel so welcome. 🙂
After waiting for some stragglers to arrive (a good reason to be punctual – you never know what you may miss 🙂 Ayron made her entrance stopping to pet her dog Chelsea along the way.
Everything that makes a marriage strong and wonderful was there that day: the love between them, the strong support of family and friends, and you could tell that they just "got" it. There wasn't a dry eye in the backyard – myself included.
A perfect day!
Congratulations Ayron, Keith and Garrett – hope that you like the sneak-peak, your gallery will be up by the end of the week.
Chelsea – the sweetest Golden Retriever!
There was a bouncy castle to let the kids free in – problem was trying to get them out again.
Ayron, Keith and Garrett – A very happy family.
Look at Dad – he's beaming!
Couldn't resist getting a picture of this wee guy – mmmm Cheerios.
Hugs to mom from the Flower Girl who did an awesome job.
This is the very sweet guy who made Paige and I feel so welcome. Thank You!
The groom! Isn't this the way it is supposed to be, relaxing, happy, content…..
Yes, he does have his weiner (ahem) in his hand.
