I was asked to do some photos for The Maples Independent Country School this winter. It is a delightful private school (preschool to grade 8 ) located right here in Orangeville. I teach photography as part of their afterschool programming every spring and the kids are always excited and inspiring.
I spent a couple of hours wandering from class to class sneaking up on them (unsuccessfully most times 😉 trying to capture the kids doing what they usually do – learning and laughing.
I was excited to see the kids tobogganing at recess and attempted to set up a photo of all of them coming down the hill towards me. Well laid plans ….. I forgot to plan in an escape route for myself as they hurtled towards me. 😉
I love to see kids reading!!!
Loved the fierce concentration on this little boys face – notice his tongue sticking out – too cute! 🙂
