Spring is in the air and soccer season is just around the corner! If you’ve been reading The Banner lately, you may have seen the news on the Orangeville Storm 2001 Girls Select soccer team.
The coach and the fundraising coordinator for this time just happen to be a couple of my clients so I offered to help them get the word out that they’re looking for more players to fill out their player roster.
So, if you have a daughter born in 2001 (or know someone who does 🙂 and she loves to play soccer (or is a great all-around athlete :), check out the team at their website: Storm2001Girls. The team already has the support of a good group of sponsors behind them (including yours truly!) They’ve also got their tournament schedule set for the season ahead.
Any 2001 gals interested in trying out for the team are invited to come to the team’s Wednesday night practices (in April) from 6-7:30 pm in the dome at ACTS (Hwy #9 & Heart Lake Rd., east of 2nd Line Mono). Meet the coaches and the team and have some fun!
