Madelyn was my grandmother's name (spelt differently as most names are these days but Madelyn all the same). I was interested to see what type of child would be attached to such a regal name and I was not disappointed. A gorgeous little girl with a beautiful head of hair and one very tired mommy. Those first couple of weeks can be brutal especially if you already have 3 kids. She has to be the most alert newborn I have ever met! All of those cute baby curled in a ball sleeping photos were not going to happen – so we got creative. Isn't that what it is all about. :)
If she is going to be anything like her brothers and sister she is going to grow up to be beautiful, precocious and intelligent – a dangerous mix indeed. Enjoy her, Jen!
