Just realizing it has been a couple of weeks since I did a blog posting. My apologies guys, it is not because I have not been taking photos. Quite the opposite in fact, I have been very busy with product and commercial sessions and newborn and family sessions. January is generally my slow down and plan time. And planning I have been. I am anxiously awaiting delivery of 4 new backgrounds, have a gorgeous new newborn baby bed that has been receiving various coats of stain in my sunporch and have been finalizing plans for my new studio. I can’t wait. I am already planning the grand opening party and there is a long way to go before that.
We have been enjoying a wonderful winter. Lots of skiing and snow play in spite of it being a less then stellar snow year. Skiing every weekend, skating during the week – the house is littered with soaking winter clothes all the time. Caitlyn has taken to leaving her soaking wet mitts, snowpants and coat laying over all of the household registers so that they can be toasty warm when she puts them on. I do credit her ingenuity but beginning to long for sandal season. 😉
I am looking forward to this family day weekend. An urgent family meeting last night was called to cut out 50% of the planned activities and we are going to approach it at a much more relaxed pace. Skiing today (me I have a fabulous adventurous family photo session while the kids are on the slopes 🙂 perhaps a movie or a pj day tomorrow then a visit to Snofest Caledon on Monday. Sounds Perfect to me.
