After the "busy-ness" of the fall and the holiday season it is wonderful to slow down and enjoy the quiet moments.
Dave stood out in the freezing cold night to capture this photo. The two brightest lights in the sky are the planets Jupiter and Venus. We have a telescope and spend many nights gazing up at the stars.
Dave's parents joined us on Christmas Eve and were not forgotten by Santa.
We love family game nights, especially now that Caitlyn is growing beyond Candyland. (I always get stuck in the marshmallow swamp!) "Sorry" was a Christmas addition to our games and is already a favourite.
The Girls always fight over who gets to put on the Clarice ornament….
