There are two months of the year that as a parent I take a huge inhale and exhale at the end of the month – December and June. If you don’t have kids it is difficult to fully understand how things very quickly get out of control two months of the year. It is the ending of so many things and the beginning of new things and all of it overlapping into everything. The kids are crazy – no one wanting to go to bed because it is daylight at 10 o clock and no one wanting to get out of bed because it is school and school really should have finished 2 weeks ago. Trips, track and field, parties, movies – really Bill Nye the science guy is amazingly educational but June always seems to have an overwhelming number of videos. 🙂
It is all good though. Lots of fun, laughter and joy.
We fired up the boat and took the girls tubing one gorgeous Friday evening and stayed out til the sun went down. 🙂 I wish it could be summer all year long!!
